About kevin
Kevin O’Briant is a professional archaeologist and ethnohistorian who has taught archaeological field methods and general-interest archaeology courses for the University of Chicago, the University of New Mexico, Wesleyan University, and the University of Montana. He has conducted medico-anthropological fieldwork in India, and provided archaeological consultation for documentary films.
Specializing in public archaeology with a focus on adult learners, he provides interpretive historical tours of the Lewis and Clark Trail in Montana and Idaho, and makes short films about archaeology and ethnobotany. Kevin is member of the Society for American Archaeology Public Education Committee, and he lives in Missoula, Montana.
